Pear (drop) cabochon birthstone stacking ring
The idea behind the birthstone stacking ring sets is to create a stacking set of rings holding the birthstone gems of the special people in your life.
All the information you need to know about choosing a birthstone stacking set is here.
Choose the birthstones of your children; or maybe yourself and a loved one with my stacking 9ct gold stacking heart ring in between. The options are endless. See my gallery page for stacking ring inspiration.
This version of my birthstone stacker holds a smooth, pear (or drop) shaped cabochon birthstone.
The term cabochon describes the classic cut of gemstone with a flat back, and a domed top. These are smooth on top although I do have a facet top variety in this drop shape too.
This ring is perfect for stacking with my other birthstone stacking rings as described above, but also looks absolutely lovely on its own.
For most (but not all) of these pear birthstones you can choose between a 6x4mm or a 7x5mm stone. Unfortunately I don't have all of the birthstones in this shape - some just don't come in this particular cut.
The cabochon is set your choice of metal, either 100% recycled sterling silver or 100% recycled 9ct gold and the band will be a 2.3 x 1.5mm D-profile band.
Your band will be made to your requested size, but please note if you buy three or more rings to stack you should choose a size 1/2 to one full size bigger to ensure a correct fit.
It's important to get the size correct as unfortunately I am unable to reduce the ring size. But if needs be, I can stretch the ring size slightly by 1/2 or 1 full size.
To make them even more personal I can hand stamp a name or date into your rings. There's some more information about stamping on my blog.

All sterling silver and 9ct gold jewellery will benefit from a polish with a jewellery polishing cloth. Used regularly this can keep tarnish at bay. Avoid contact with water for long periods, and chemicals.
